Developing & Implementing new models of care.
Between 2015 & 2016, Islington Council consulted internally and externally, transforming ways of working, developing & implementing new models of care and joined up working. This involved various iterations of requirements gathering, process mapping, development and releases of the LiquidLogic system, in order to enable a streamlined application, fully exploiting the system’s capabilities and assuring the system is fit for business purpose.

Bespoke configuration.
The bespoke re-configuration of the system involved FACE’s latest suite of Assessments and Resource Allocation Scheme. It was soon discovered that, whilst the Long Term, Community Support pathway had been developed, the Short Term, Reablement Support pathway had not. Islington’s resident developer and Managing Director of Development Operations LTD, developed and released a custom, bespoke version of the Short Term Support Planning pathway, which works unilaterally with the Long Term, District Nursing and Mental Health Support Planning Pathway(s). Allowing for time efficiency between Service Areas, through background use of advanced development, enhancing the system’s capability to support the Business, lightening administrative burden and eradicating the need for double data entry.
